Liquid Agency | Associate Client Director | May 2012 – present

As an Associate Client Director, I am responsible for managing all aspects of the client relationship and client programs ranging from day-to-day activities to larger scope, strategic initiatives for one of the agency’s largest Fortune 100 clients. Our team was responsible for creating the retail and online marketing presence for a multi-billion dollar product launch of 2012.  I am responsible for managing a portfolio of work with multiple campaigns and timelines. Working with my team, we developed processes that enable us to be extremely agile as conditions require a fast response to ever-changing conditions to ensure all deadlines are made. I also consult with clients as they manage their own internal processes and challenges to help ensure they are successful.

 

L’anima, Chocolate & Pastries/ Research Consultant |  Owner  |  Nov 2010 – May 2012

As a newcomer to the confectionary arts, I experimented and developed recipes for sugar-free chocolate truffles utilizing Stevia, a 100% natural sweetener. As this treat does not raise glucose levels, they are ideal for those with sugar allergies or diabetes. Through research and development, business/ project plans were developed to successfully recruit specialty experts and consultants, create Research & Development schedules, updates, budget, and identify small local business who would be the ideal distributor for these products. Through these endeavors I partnered with local small business owners in the service industry to consult and share findings of research.

 

Overland Agency  |  Director of Account Services  |  Sept 2005 – Nov 2009

As Account Director I managed a diverse business portfolio, partnering with clients at multiple levels within organizations to develop solid, strategic solutions. In partnership with other members of the executive team, I created proposals and pricing estimates to ensure clients received documented, accurate and complete program and project outlines. Project management included S.W.O.T. analysis, risk assessment and deep research into each industry and its competitors. I managed an account base totaling over $3m annually, managing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and proactively communicated project status to maintain both team and client expectations. I was responsible for overseeing projects from planning through delivery and maintenance, ensuring that all processes and procedures were completed, quality standards were met, and that projects were profitable. Throughout my career my client retention rate has been beyond reproach, developing partnerships that carried through to ongoing initiatives for continuing business growth. I was responsible for new hires from recruitment, resume review, interview to offer and managed Account Coordinators, Account Executives and Office Managers.

 

Curiosity Group  |  Account Manager  |  Dec 2004 – Sept 2005

As Account Manager, I was responsible for strategic development and ongoing account growth for a Fortune 500 company. We focused on new product releases, developing high-tech viral and social media campaigns to highlight cutting edge technology.  Project management included statements of work, project timelines, risk assessment analysis, project briefs, cost estimates, and project scope briefs. Detailed schedules were created identifying key paths to action and major milestones, ensuring on time and on budget delivery. I was the main client contact for my account and ensured that regular, weekly (or daily if needed) updates were provided to ensure communication was complete an thorough and expectations were managed closely.

 

Oregon State Lottery  |  Senior Project Coordinator  |  Mar 2003 – Dec 2004

As Senior Project Coordinator, I created a project management department within the Oregon Lottery to track the myriad projects tied to each product launch – including traditional and video products. Prior to my on-boarding, there were no formal processes or schedules for POP, billboard, TV, radio, and Web campaigns for products. Deep analysis was required to identify and realign processes for smooth development of these materials as they transitioned from one team to another. I conducted daily update meetings with staff was responsible for regular updates to senior staff including the Assistant Director of Marketing. In addition I assisted the promotional department, representing the Oregon State Lottery at events throughout the state. The processes and templates developed in MS Project are still in use and continue to enable Marketing to track project to ensure on-time delivery for product launches.

 

Intel |  Project Manager  | Aug 1998 – Apr 2002

As Project Manager, I was responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines. This included acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. I was in charge of defining project objectives, overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle, and  working with senior management and stakeholder to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. To ensure project efficiency, I communicated project expectations to team members in a timely, clear fashion and served as liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Major projects included coordinating the annual employee performance evaluation effort throughout my organization (over 400 employees) to ensure all required actions were taken. In addition, I planned, designed, recruited and managed internal resources, created content to develop an online training module for employees new to Intel.
